The George Hotel was originally built back in the 1970’s and had a few additions and improvements since then but now was time for the big change. The intervention was now done on the roofing/cladding that had betterments, and new face lift brought an update to the building.  On the north and west facade were installed aluminium angles that create a new rhytm and rearrange the facade creating a new order. The white was replaced by the dark grey that unifies all the old elements and make the new gold louvers outstand. The gold colour varies according to the angles orientation, the time of the day or depeding on the season.  At nightime a warm low light illuminates the facade in all levels giving it a candle like quality.
